Kevin and Jialin

The TRUE purpose for our US trip was to say farewell to a wonderful friend, Jialin. She left Penang to be wed to the dashing NewYork lawyer, Kevin Nah. It was a beautiful ceremony...Needless to say, my heart skipped several beats.
It has been a difficult process to let go of such a gem, my newfound friend in a new homeland. But I watched as Kevin wooed Jialin, prepared a new home for her, and lovingly catered to her needs. Most importantly, I saw the hand of the Lord on their lives. He orchestrated that their paths should meet, intertwine, and finally be joined into one.

Kevin and Jialin, I wish you both the best...Always remember that you have a home, a cheering squad, a church-family across the globe.

New York -- 1st Encounter After 18 Years

This was my first taste of New York after being away for 18 years...The last time we visited that city, Jenny was 16 months. Jonathan was 2 1/2 years old. The twin towers were still standing... So much has changed since then...

Sabina's 5th Birthday

Last September 5, my little princess Sabina turned 5 years old. This is how we celebrated her big day... Funny how it seems to mirror my own birthday celebration 35 years ago. Some traditions do die hard. (Thank you Mama! I love you!!!)
