The Murrells in Penang

We had a rare treat this past month when, on a sidetrip from APEC, Pastor Steve, Deborah and Jonathan, visited our church here in Penang. As you may have already guessed, Jojo and I were the most thrilled of all. Sitting across the table from them, showing them our fave sites, introducing them to the church here made us feel like our parents were in town.

It was a two-day trip, but the memories are enough to last a lifetime. We are so blessed!

Geok Hean's Baby Shower

It was actually a welcome party for Jaden, as it was an after-the-fact shower. Geok Hean had a delicate final month, and we opted to postpone the planned party.

My mentor and usual shower party planner, Miss Lorrie Battung was sorely missed, but I hope that my feeble attempt will make her proud.

Ben's 4th Birthday!

Like a proper little gentleman, he kept waving to his guests, sticking 4 fingers out. It was only later that we realized that he must have been tired of us all asking how old he was, so he just dutifully waved the number to the adoring crowd, hahaha!

Ben, you're a total darling! We Penangites will miss you sooooo!!!!

APEC '08

It has been a time-honored Everynation gathering that we all look forward to, usually held in Singapore: APEC '05, APEC 07, SINGAPORE

This year, though, we had it in Kuala Lumpur for a change. And we were not disappointed.
