Jenny turned 18 last August 23, but we decided to delay celebrating her debut so some of her close friends from Alabang could join the festivities.
We chose an Indian Restaurant, Spice & Rice, in the historic area of Penang, just a stone's throw away from the famous Clock Tower and Fort Cornwalis. The ladies wore the Indian bindis on their foreheads, we dined on curries, drank lassi, and had a jazz band for ambiance. Jenny danced the traditional 18 roses with her dad, brothers and friends. It turned out to be such a joyous [bordering on giddy] celebration that I even forgot to cry!!!
