Weird Happens

Mikey tagged me with his blog "im not THAT weird. i think.", where he wrote stuff about himself like: "When I'm bored, I create a wrestling match with my fingers" and "i can fold my ears so they close."

He was tagged by Kyera (yes, i know. i'm weird.), who wrote: "i alcogel the alcogel bottle."

Nikki, in her version Maybe I'm not that weird after all, confesses, "When I was young, I imagined that my left leg was a one-eyed elephant." and "I was part of a patintero varsity. (for a month. Hahahaha.)"

ONE. I love watching gory detective stuff, particularly serial killers (Hannibal, Bone Collector, Law&Order: SVU).

TWO. On the other hand, I'm terrified of dracula/vampire/witch movies.

THREE. My childhood nickname is "Jewel"

FOUR. I'm a "junior", named after my mom, Ida Marie Villalon because they were expecting a boy junior for my dad.

FIVE. I'm the only leftie in my immediate family...none of my sibs, nor my parents, nor my kids are lefties

SIX. My left pinky is crooked...in exactly the same way my dad's pinky is too

SEVEN. I'm prone to depression which is opposite of my rep/image/career. This explains my need for caffeine and upbeat music

EIGHT. Despite my #7 quirk, I was voted class PRO (public relations officer) all four years of high school

NINE. My sisters and I (and now my kids), lapse into momentary empty staring where we get lost in thought in the middle of a crowded /noisy room

TEN. Road rage runs in the family (like an actual disease). I finally got over it when I stuck a "Brother Eddie" poster on my car a few years back

ELEVEN. I love any kind of puzzle (jigsaw, crosswords, mind twister)

TWELVE. I can't travel without a crossword puzzle book (or cut-out from a newspaper) tucked in my handcarry. [A habit I developed in high school]... I stash them in every handbag, by my bedside, in my banyo, in my luggage like a junkie

THIRTEEN. My sister Gia used to cut out and save the newspaper crosswords whenever I travel out of the country

FOURTEEN. Like Mikey, I love rainy days, especially car rides in the rain

FIFTEEN. I used to run in the track team in HS
